All Epicurean Group websites have been recently revised and include:
- A new publishing tool to make updates easier
- A revised homepage with links to important affiliations
- A revised LiveWell page with updated information
- A new About Us page with the Epicurean Pledge
- Link in the main navigation to Epicureans News page
- Rotating seasonal background images
In addition, this website includes an Image Library with quality imagery for use in your promo areas.*
Our beta website, which was used for developing the updates can be viewed here.
Our goal is to improve the quality of each individual website as well as to maintain consistency across all of our websites.
What’s Wrong With This Picture?
Example of a (real) homepage and the issues that managers were encountering. Rollover the blue + sign to view the specific issues.
- Pizza image specified too big for the space.
- Pizza & flag images are different proportions and different sizes.
- Unwanted blank space
- Salad image distorted. Horizontal image specified as a square
These issues can avoided by using the homepage promo images from our image library or cropping images to the correct SIZE AND PROPORTION.
While the new publishing tool has more fail-safes built into it’s platform, it is still important to use the correct image proportions in order for the content to display correctly.
